A list of 18 month old toddler breakfast ideas based on what my toddler has been eating this month!

I’ll be the first to admit that breakfast is not my favorite meal of the day to spend time in the kitchen preparing an elaborate meal. But, there are some ways to feed your toddler a quick and nutritious breakfast without a lot of time and effort.

Below are some ideas for toddler breakfasts based on what my kids ate around 18 months old.

    Favorite Feeding Supplies

Before we get started I wanted to share some of my favorite toddler feeding supplies that make breakfast (and all meal times) a little more manageable! These are in no way necessary to serve your toddler meals, but can help make it easier, more fun, and having the right supplies can help with picky eating tendencies as well.

Pillowfort Kids Plates – we have had these for many years and they are the perfect size for toddlers and young kids! They have held up great in the dishwasher and come in fun colors.

EZPZ Mini Play Mat – a fun flower-shaped suction plate that is perfect for snack time, snack-style meals, and picky eating. My kids all love when I bring out this plate! It’s made of silicone and is non-toxic and dishwasher safe.

    Toddler Breakfast #1: Veggie Muffin

We love Veggies Made Great muffins for a quick and easy breakfast or snack idea. These are stored in the freezer and heat up in about 60 seconds. Perfect for young toddlers or picky eaters since they are packed with veggies and you would never know! Side of mandarin orange.

18 Month Toddler Breakfast #2: Eggs & Toast

Eggs and toast served separately, or cooked together like “eggs in a basket”. I normally cut into strips for my young toddlers so it’s easier to pick up and eat. Side of bacon.

Mix any/all of your toddler’s favorite veggies or veggies you have left over in your fridge into eggs for quick and easy breakfast burritos. Some of our favorites to include are: sweet potato, zucchini, bell pepper, and broccoli. Wrap small tight burritos for young toddlers or serve deconstructed.
