A list of 7 fun and easy toddler snack plate lunch ideas. Try serving lunch snack style: great for busy moms and picky eaters!

If you haven’t tried a snack plate lunch yet, give it a try at your next meal time! We especially love snack plates for lunch since the boys are often hangry (hungry + angry) and I need to get something on the table quickly. I find that they are easier than a normal lunch with a main course because you can pull quickly from your fridge and pantry and they take less planning.

How do you make a snack tray lunch?

Start by pulling out all your left overs, fruit and veggies that you need to eat up, and all your toddler’s favorite sides and snacks. Choose 5-7 of these different foods and serve small portions on a plate or fun divided plate like the EZPZ Mini Play Mat (this is what I have pictured below; they are the perfect portion size, made of non-toxic silicone and dishwasher safe!).

    Easy Toddler Snack Plate Lunches

Toddler Snack Lunch #1: Veggie Corn Dog Snack Plate

Veggie Corn Dog: We love the veggie corn dogs from MorningStar Farms. Be sure to cut length-wise for young toddlers since round hot dogs can be a choking hazard. Side of cucumbers with hummus, graham crackers and dried hibiscus, peaches, and whole milk string cheese.

Snack Plate Lunch #2: Naan Bread with Tzatziki Snack Plate

Naan Bread with Tzatziki: the tzatziki was left over from dinner earlier that week but hummus would be another good option if you don’t want to make tzatziki. Side of raisins, peaches, pretzel crisps, shredded cheese, and kiwi.

Fun Toddler Lunch #3: Baked Beans Snack Plate

Baked Beans: baked beans are a super easy toddler-friendly food and a good source of protein and fiber. Side of cucumber with cream cheese and ‘Everything But the Bagel’ (EBB) seasoning, cooked carrots, pretzel crisps, and raspberries.

Snack Plate Toddler Lunch #4: Cheese Quesadilla Snack Plate

Cheese Quesadilla: a simple cheese quesadilla or try adding black beans or veggies like broccoli, peas, or carrots. Side of cucumber with hummus, strawberries, grapes, and shredded cheese.

Fun Toddler Lunch #5: Pizza Snack Plate

Pizza Snack Plate: use left over pizza, make a quick one using pita or naan bread, or heat up a frozen one (our favorite is from KidFresh). Side of cucumbers with cream cheese, olives, pineapple, avocado with EBB, and raspberries.

Easy Toddler Lunch #6: Grilled Cheese Roll Up Snack Plate

Grilled Cheese Roll Up: a fun twist on grilled cheese; roll out a piece of bread using a heavy glass or rolling pin, sprinkle with shredded cheese, tightly roll up, and fry in butter until crispy on all sides. Side of laughing cow cheese, strawberries, graham crackers, grapes, and raisins.

Toddler Snack Plate Lunch #7: Cereal Snack Plate

Cereal Snack Plate: serve your toddler’s favorite cereal dry or with milk. Side of sliced cheese, apricot, cucumber banana, and cheese crackers.

PS – our plates are from EZPZ and we love them because they are the perfect portion size for snack plates, they are non-toxic silicone, and they are dishwasher safe (mom win!).
